Planned gifts made to Baton Rouge General Foundation ensure that the high quality care our hospital provides continues in the future. Endowed gifts are funds that are held in perpetuity by Baton Rouge General Foundation. The gift is invested and only a portion of its average annual investment return is used for purposes specified by the donor. Our endowed gifts continue to grow on a daily basis and have supported our hospital for many years. We welcome continued support of the following established endowments.

Cardiovascular Endowment
The Cardiovascular Endowment was established for the sole purpose of funding cardiovascular initiatives. Only Cardiovascular Endowment Fund money shall be used for support of our cardiovascular service line.

Cancer Endowments
The following funds were established for the purpose of enhancing the care of Baton Rouge General Oncology patients.

Pediatric Endowment
The Pediatric Endowment was established for the sole purpose of funding pediatric initiatives. Income of the fund shall solely be used for support of our pediatric service line.

Claude Kirkpatrick Diabetes Endowment
The Claude Kirkpatrick Endowment fund was established for the sole purpose of funding diabetes initiatives. Income of the fund shall solely be used for support of our diabetes service line.
